How to Use the Protection Equipment for Anti Arc?

Method 1

The total energy generated by the arc flash of the device is calculated by using the program software provided, including the interphase and box factors. Then, according to the energy data calorie /cm2, select the closest arc and cover PPE.

Arc flash protective clothing

For most of the low energy work (240V or below), natural fibers are not enough to be melted by high temperature. Some high-risk jobs require arc flash protective clothing.

Most work at or near the system voltage 480V and above requires at least one layer of arc flash protective clothing to be worn outside the natural fiber clothing.

High power work requires higher protection capability of ATPV's arc flash protective clothing.

For safety reasons, it is recommended to adopt a full set of anti arc flash safety equipment, from 11 card /cm2 to 100 card /cm2.

The arc flash protective clothing is completely different from the electrical insulation clothing, and the fire protection clothing for fire protection is also not applicable.
